Resumo: | This article is inspired by the study of the literary work “Grande Sertão: Veredas”, by João Guimarães Rosa, seeking elements that contribute to the reflections of the Philosophy of Education on the foundations of the formation of the human being. It is understood that the formation of the human being is not limited to aspects that the modern world has agreed to call educational and that education is a process in which the human is made to the same extent that a specific reading of the whole of life has been constituted. . The literary work, in its aesthetic experience, different from the Cartesian philosophical approach to academic theory, allows us to approach nuances that we sometimes lose or do not seem possible to achieve in dissertation argumentation, including the formation of the ethical field. In this field, from a theoretical framework of Critical Theory, this theoretical essay of a bibliographic nature discusses the relationships between the sertanejo and the Sertão in the constitution of an incarcerated subjectivity. |

Compreende-se que a formação do ser humano não se limita à aspectos que o mundo moderno convencionou chamar de educativos e a que a educação é um processo em que o humano se faz na mesma medida em que se constituiu uma leitura específica do conjunto da vida. A obra literária, em sua experiência estética, diferente da abordagem filosófica cartesiana da teoria acadêmica, permite se aproximar de nuances que por vezes perdemos ou não se parece possível de alcançar na argumentação dissertativa, inclusive da formação do campo ético.
