With the advent of post-structuralist studies, a range of possibilities open to interrogate and problematize the dominant discourses and penetrate the various areas of knowledge, among them Literature. In this way, it shows the importance of inserting, through the discussions raised, the constructed and provisional character of gender and sexuality representations, the diversity of the fictional senses that are forming and the intersection between the aesthetic and the political of the literary work. Bringing as object of analysis the novel As Meninas, by Lygia Fagundes Telles, the Post-structuralism research seeks above all to observe not only the literary text, but to question what is behind it, where this authorized speech starts, which subjectivation modes are in operation. Finally, it is proposed a reading that is capable of recognizing the literary text with all its multiplicity of discourse, as a confrontation space of language, ambiguities, contradictions and also as a place of resistance and ruptures.
