Crise de representatividade na democracia brasileira: considerações sociais e políticas

Resumo: This paper discusses the crisis of representativeness among voters and their political representatives in Brazil, evidenced through the historical evolution of politics, social composition and discontent with public policy. The dissatisfaction of Brazilians and their disbelief in public bodies and politicians are the result of a Public Administration patrimonialism heritage, of public services that are not offered with efficiency and quality to users, of their lack of knowledge about the practice of politics and their impact on their lives as citizens. In a country with so many inequalities, it is up to politicians to approach voters not only in electoral periods because living with conflicts can create solutions that meet the real needs of Brazilians, built according to the reality experienced by most Brazilians.

A insatisfação dos brasileiros e sua descrença nos órgãos públicos e nos políticos são resultados de uma herança histórica patrimonialista na Administração Pública, de serviços públicos que não são ofertados com eficiência e qualidade aos usuários, do desconhecimento que os mesmos têm sobre a prática da política e o seu impacto as suas vidas como cidadãos.
