Utilizou-se o delineamento experimental de blocos casualizados, com parcelas subdivididas, sendo 16 tratamentos e 4 repetições, conduzido em duas faixas. Em uma das faixas foi instalado o sistema de plantio direto e, na outra, o sistema de plantio convencional. Nas parcelas foram distribuídos os espaçamentos de 17 cm e 34 cm entre linhas e, nas subparcelas, as cultivares Embrapa 22, Embrapa 41, BR 26 São Gotardo e IAC 24-Tucurui. Estudaram-se as características agronômicas, como estande inicial e final, altura de plantas, número de grãos por espiga, peso de mil grãos, peso do hectolitro e rendimento de grãos. Os sistemas de cultivo, seja o convencional ou o plantio direto, não interferiram no rendimento de grãos das cultivares. O espaçamento de 17 cm proporcionou o maior rendimento de grãos de trigo, tanto no sistema convencional como no sistema de plantio direto. O cultivo de trigo pode ser realizado em sistemas de cultivo convencional ou plantio direto, não apresentando variação no rendimento de grãos nesses casos.The purpose of this work was to study the culture systems in two sowing spacing for the recommended wheat´s cultivars in the state of Minas Gerais in Lavras-MG. The experiment used two randomized complete blocks desing with subplots, 16 treatments, 4 replications carried out in two rows, in one of those was used no tillage and in the other one was used a conventional planting system. In the plots were used distribution of the spacings 17 cm and 34 cm between the rows and in the subplots "Embrapa 22", Embrapa 41", "Br 26 São Gotardo" and "IAC 24 Tucuruí " cultivars. The agronomical characteristics such as onset and ending standard, plants heigt, number of grains per spike, the weight of 1000 grains, the hectoliter weight and grains yield were studied. The culture system no tillage and conventional one did not interfir in the cultivars grain yield. The 17 cm spacing gave a higher wheat grain yield in both conventional and no tillage systems used.
