Uma visão geral da literatura sobre prospecção de tecnologias futuras: características, desafios e tendências

The aim of this paper is to systematize the studies related on prospecting for future technologies through bibliometric and semantic analyzes. The main characteristics, challenges and trends of the studies were analyzed based on papers indexed in the Web of Science database. The results indicate a growing interest of the literature on the subject in several areas of knowledge, which contributes to new trends of studies. However, the research is fragmented, with a predominance of qualitative studies and small groups of researchers dedicated to the theme, which contributes to the emergence of new challenges. Such understandings may contribute to the advancement of research in the field of strategy and of innovation, both in the macro perspective, as in ST&I policies, innovation systems and socioeconomic development, or in the micro perspective, as in strategies for planning of technologies and innovations by universities and companies.
