Resumo: This research was developed in eucalyptus plantations, in Marliéria and Córrego Novo, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, with the objective of multivariated analysis applying in the study of human factors related to chainsaw cutting, clustering the chainsaw operators, considering the individual productivity and the envolved human factors. The cluster analysis classified the chainsaw operators in four groups. Thirteen factors were important in clustering the chainsaw operators, among the 20 factors analised. The productivity on the job was a very important factor in the chainsaw operators clustering, because the three most productive chainsaw operators have formed one group and the less one has formed another group.

Seu objetivo foi aplicar a análise multivariada no estudo de fatores humanos relacionados com a atividade de corte com motosserra, agrupando os operadores de motosserra em classes, levando-se em consideração a sua produtividade individual e os fatores humanos envolvidos. A análise de agrupamento classificou os operadores de motosserra em quatro grupos. Dos 20 fatores avaliados, 13 foram importantes na classificação dos operadores de motosserra em grupos.
