Ensino de Artes Visuais com o cinema: experiências crítico-reflexivas no ensino médio

Resumo: The present research analyses, in an educational environment, teaching of Visual Arts in relation to the cinema. The object of this study refers to the Teaching of Visual Arts with cinema. The general objective of this work is to develop new methodological approaches - in Visual Arts classes with cinema - that expand the critical-reflexive formation of high school students. The research field was the Campus Monte Castelo, of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Maranhão (IFMA), in São Luís. The research subjects were 117 students, distributed among the technical courses of integrated medium level of Buildings, Furniture Design and Computer Science, in the first stage; and, in the last stage, the students of Industrial Chemistry of the High-Technical Education, in the period from 2019 to 2020. The scientific problem of the research centered on the investigation of how to develop new methodological approaches in Visual Arts classes, using cinema. Indeed, we analyze the main contributions of critical-reflective experiences of artistic production in the visual arts classes with cinema for reframing the space of speech and discussion of students as otherness exercises. Thus, through the production of fanfics and their adaptations to scripts, production of live and remote short movies and, finally, the hosting of six remote short movies on YouTube. The methodological path adopted was the action research, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. As instruments of data collection, bibliographic survey, participant observation, diagnostic polling through conversation circles, semi-structured diagnostic questionnaires about the experiences were carried out, adding the use of WhatsApp and Google Meet as pedagogical supports in the classroom and remote form of classes. Based on that, the data was analyzed and interpreted, involving the systematization of information, through graphics, photographs, and text narrative corpus. In this perspective, the use of these new methodological approaches in the Teaching of Visual Arts with cinema is advocated through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as a way of educating through research based on the experience of critical-reflective production in high school.

O objetivo norteador é desenvolver novas abordagens metodológicas – nas aulas de Artes Visuais com o cinema – que ampliem a formação crítico-reflexiva dos educandos do Ensino Médio. O local da pesquisa foi o Campus São Luís/Monte Castelo do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Maranhão (IFMA). Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram 117 educandos, distribuídos entre os cursos técnicos de nível médio integrado de Edificações, Design de Móveis e Informática na primeira etapa; e, na última etapa, os educandos de Química Industrial do Ensino Médio-Técnico, no período de 2019 a 2020. O problema científico da pesquisa centrou-se em como desenvolver abordagens metodológicas nas aulas de Artes Visuais, mediante a utilização do cinema. Assim, analisam-se as contribuições de experiências crítico-reflexivas de produção artística nas aulas de Artes visuais com o cinema para a ressignificação do espaço de fala dos educandos como exercícios de alteridade. Desse modo, foram realizadas produção de fanfics e suas adaptações para roteiros, produção de curtas presenciais e remotos e, por fim, a hospedagem de seis curtas remotos no YouTube. O percurso metodológico adotado foi o de pesquisa-ação, com abordagem quali-quantitativa. Foram realizados levantamento bibliográfico, observação participante, sondagem diagnóstica, questionários semiestruturados sobre as experiências, acrescentando-se o uso do WhatsApp e do Google Meet como suportes pedagógicos na modalidade presencial e remota das aulas. A partir disso, fez-se a análise e a interpretação dos dados, envolvendo a sistematização das informações, através de gráficos, fotografias e corpus narrativos de textos.
