Resumo: Sanitary campaigns are essentially multimodal and their printed can be used in mediation of the teaching and learning. Thus, we aim to analyze the construction of sense about a printed for of combat to Zika virus by Licentiates in Biological Sciences after training on the Visual Design Grammar (GDV). The research was divided: I) analysis of the printed; II) questionnaire, answered by two Working Groups (WG), about the printed; III) course on GDV and Multimodality; IV) analysis and proposed changes to the printed by WG. Analyzing the printed it became evident need to reflect on the use of such material in Science Education. The WG responses to the questionnaire reinforced the importance of train the teachers multimodal. After the formation, the GT showed difficulty in understanding the functions of the GDV as present in any multimodal text, besides the proposals of alteration showed that the process of construction of direction was positively impacted by the GDV.

De esta forma, objetivamos analizar la construcción de sentido sobre un impreso de combate a Zika virus por Licenciandos en Ciencias Biológicas después de formación sobre la Gramática del Diseño Visual (GDV). La investigación se dividió: I) análisis del impreso; II) cuestionario, respondido por dos Grupos de Trabajo (GT), sobre el impreso; III) curso sobre GDV y Multimodalidad; IV) análisis y propuestas de modificaciones al impreso pero los GT. Analizando el impreso se evidenció necesidad de reflexionar sobre el uso de ese tipo material en la Educación en Ciencias. Las respuestas de los GT al cuestionario reforzaron la importancia de letrar multimodalmente profesores. Después de la formación, los GT mostraron dificultad para comprender las funciones de la GDV como presentes en cualquier texto multimodal, además las propuestas de alteración demostraron que el proceso de construcción de sentido fue impactado positivamente por la GDV.A pesquisa objetiva analisar a construção de sentido sobre um impresso de combate ao Zika vírus por Licenciandos em Ciências Biológicas após formação sobre a Gramática do Design Visual (GDV). A GDV propõe uma análise multimodal considerando a interação verbo-visual com o contexto social. A pesquisa foi dividida em: I) análise do impresso; II) questionário; III) curso sobre GDV e Multimodalidade; IV) propostas de alterações ao impresso. A análise proporcionou reflexões sobre o uso do impresso na Educação em Ciências. As respostas ao questionário reforçaram a importância de letrar multimodalmente professores. Após a formação, os licenciandos apresentaram dificuldades para compreender algumas das funções da GDV, contudo, as propostas de alteração demonstraram impacto positivo do curso na construção de sentido. The research aims to analyze the construction of meaning on a form to fight the Zika virus by Graduates in Biological Sciences after training on the Grammar of Visual Design (GDV). GDV proposes a multimodal analysis considering the verbal-visual interaction with the social context. The research was divided into: I) analysis of the form; II) questionnaire; III) course on GDV and Multimodality; IV) proposals for changes to the form. The analysis provided reflections on the use of the form in Science Education. The responses to the questionnaire reinforced the importance of multimodal literacy teachers.
