Resumo: | The aim of this article is to understand how the values about interspecies ethics was presented and debated by 5-years-old children and monitor. The topic approached was the habitat of sharks. The interactive sequence analyzed belongs to a case study performed in a public kindergarten setting of São Paulo periphery with 32 4 to 5-years-old children. In order to analyze one episode of activity day, we made up an episodic map so that we analyze the thematic pattern utilizing Lemke (1990) and Mortimer & Scott (2003) categories. We also seek to understand how much the interaction could create a dialogic space to listen children. Our theoretical framework is sociocultural because we understand the communication, thinking and language as process shaped by culture. The results indicated that children assimilate cultural and social views about the habitat of other species since early. However, it was made possible stimulate their critical thinking and ethical reflection about that habitat, throughout ludic activities that stimulate the questioning and the counterpoint of visions. |
