Resumo: This paper attempts to demonstrate how the city can be symbolically seized as an Expanded Abode, from the experience of Derive and its unfoldings from the poetic creation. For this, historical, philosophical and psychological arguments are presented where the city is portrayed as a shelter symbol, using the poetic thought of Gaston Bachelard on the Abode and the psychological analysis of James Hillman on the city. The situationist Derive is appropriate as a technique of poetic creation, capable of breaking with the capitalist ideal and making emerge in the subject other subjectivities related to the territory. If the home is the house endowed with three elements – memory, affection and identity –, the city, symbolically acquiring these elements, can be perceived as an Abode.

Este artículo intenta demostrar cómo la ciudad puede ser aprehendida simbólicamente como una Morada-Expandida, a partir de la experiencia de Deriva y sus desdoblamientos de creación poética. Para esto, se presentan argumentos históricos, filosóficos y psicológicos que tratan la ciudad como un símbolo de refugio, valiéndose del pensamiento poético de Gaston Bachelard sobre la Morada y el análisis psicológico de James Hillman sobre la ciudad. La Deriva situacionista es apropiada como técnica de creación poética, capaz de romper con el ideal capitalista y hacer surgir en el sujeto otras subjetividades relativas al territorio. Se el hogar es la casa dotada de tres elementos - la memoria, el afecto y la identidad -, la ciudad, al adquirir simbólicamente estos elementos, puede ser percibida como una Morada. Este artigo busca demonstrar como a cidade pode ser apreendida simbolicamente enquanto Morada-Expandida, a partir da experiência de Deriva e de seus desdobramentos de criação poética. Para isto, são apresentados argumentos históricos, filosóficos e psicológicos que tratam da cidade como símbolo de abrigo, valendo-se do pensamento poético de Gaston Bachelard sobre a Morada e a análise psicológica de James Hillman sobre a cidade. A Deriva situacionista é apropriada como técnica de criação poética, capaz de romper com um ideal capitalista e fazer emergir no sujeito outras subjetividades relativas ao território.
