Resumo: In this work we intend to tension the identity-fashion-gender-art / education relationship, in order to observe the subversive possibilities presented to the recent pedagogical practice. In this debate, we are interested in thinking about how the visual markers of identity, proposed by fashion in postmodernity, help to desecrate essentialism and to understand the shifts brought about by the recent profusion of imagery and discourse. For the development of this study, we approach epistemological debates around these categories in relation to pedagogical practice, in order to create clues for an emancipatory art-education in the wake of postmodern time.

En este debate nos interesa reflexionar sobre cómo los marcadores visuales de identidad, propuestos por la moda en la posmodernidad, ayudan a profanar el esencialismo y a comprender los desplazamientos provocados por la profusión reciente de imaginería y discurso. Para el desarrollo de este estudio, abordamos los debates epistemológicos en torno a estas categorías en relación con la práctica pedagógica, con el fin de generar pistas para una educación-arte emancipadora en la estela de la posmodernidad.Neste trabalho pretende-se tensionar a relação identidade-moda-gênero-arte/educação, de modo a se observar as possibilidades subversivas apresentadas à prática pedagógica recente. Neste debate, interessa ao autor pensar como os marcadores visuais de identidade, propostos pela moda na pós-modernidade, ajudam a profanar os essencialismo e a entender os deslocamentos suscitados pela recente profusão imagético-discursiva. Para desenvolvimento deste estudo, buscou-se aproximar os debates epistemológicos em torno destas categorias em relação à prática pedagógica, de modo a criar pistas para uma arte-educação emancipatória na esteira do tempo pós-moderno.
