Resumo: The paper presents a narrative about the performative installation Terrestrial Letter, presented by the author at the Festival de La Tierra in Venezuela and at Paço das Artes in São Paulo. The work discusses thenotion of contemporary territory, which goes beyond the physical, geographical and political boundaries, reconfiguring itself as a web of affections enhanced by virtual contacts in internet. The perception of thesite is contaminated by a sense of globality, as the individual affectively connects with the others. This artwork is inspired by this experience and fosters, itself, the possibility of emergence of new connections between the individuals who experience it.

O trabalho discute a noção de território contemporâneo, que ultrapassa as fronteiras físicas, geográficas e políticas, reconfigurando-se a partir de uma teia de afetos potencializada pelos contatos virtuais na internet. A percepção do local é atravessada por uma sensação de globalidade na medida em que o indivíduo se conecta afetivamente com o outro. O trabalho artístico nutre-se dessa experiência e fomenta, ele mesmo, a possibilidade de surgimento de novas conexões entre os indivíduos que o experimentam.
