Resumo: | The article follows some components of the video Excuse me, while I disappear by artist Michael MacGarry, mobilizing daily fragments of the protagonist, a street sweeper from the Angolan city of Kilamba Kiaxi. Based on MacGarry's propositions, this essay discusses the disappearance of life forms through the imposition of serialized existences in a modern techno-authoritarian city. |
