Resumo: Our contribution aims at a comparativ analysis of the folk tales “O tesouro” ("The treasure"; אוצרדער) and “Olhos baixos” ("Downcast eyes"; אויגןפגעלוסטעאראָ) by Itzhok Leibusch Peretz (1852-1915), in light of the theory of marvelous tales, proposed by Vladimir Propp (1895-1970).
