Resumo: This article looks at the history of family Rodrigues Antunes. This family was one of the most charged during the visitation, mainly on account of its matriarch, Ana Rodrigues, a native of the region of Serra da Estrela, in Portugal, considered the first woman condemned to the stake of Portuguese America, where resident living for more than three decades.
