A different look at the experience in the Nazi concentration camps

Resumo: This article analyzed the differences and peculiarities of the condition of being a woman in the Nazi concentration camps based on the reports of Edith Eger and Eva Schloss. For this purpose, the report by Viktor Frankl was taken as a reference, who described the reactions and experiences from a male perspective. In addition to a different perspective, it was identified that the condition of motherhood, as well as the type of work reserved for women, constituted the basis for the reflections of their experiences.
