Resumo: | The present work aims to analyze the state of the art of SD research in Brazil, through a systematic review of published studies. The study is characterized as a state of the art of knowledge produced around the concept of smart destinations, and its related themes, in Brazil, considering the theses and dissertations indexed in the Catalog of theses and Dissertations of Capes and articles published in the last eight years (2015 to 2022) indexed in the Publications in Tourism portal. The research used the technique of systematic literature analysis, to elaborate the state of the art proposed by Romanowski (2002), combined with the method of classification of studies in Smart Tourism, proposed by Mehraliyev, Chan, Choi, Koseoglu & Law (2020). Initially, 252 studies were identified, and a total of 84 studies were analyzed at the end, which were within the selection criteria. A lexical-textual analysis of the systematic review was also carried with the support of the Iramuteq software, to validate the proposed classification. As a result, the study found that research on DTI in Brazil is still in the initial stages, with emphasis on the topics of Planning and Management of DTI and its conceptual development, and the effects of technology on the consumer. The survey also identified that issues related to the adoption of technology by suppliers, their understanding of the impacts of technology and consumer preferences are still poorly researched. Finally, this work also suggests a research agenda on DTI in Brazil, for the consolidation of the theme within the Brazilian academy, as well as for its approximation to practice. |

Federal University of Minas Gerais2024-03-31info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.face.ufmg.br/index.php/mtr/article/view/824010.29149/mtr.v9i1.8240Marketing & Tourism Review; Vol. 9 No. 1 (2024): v.9, n.1, 2024Marketing & Tourism Review; v. 9 n. 1 (2024): v.9, n.1, 20242525-81762525-817610.29149/mtr.v9i1reponame:Marketing & Tourism Reviewinstname:Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG)instacron:UFMGporenghttps://revistas.face.ufmg.br/index.php/mtr/article/view/8240/4108https://revistas.face.ufmg.br/index.php/mtr/article/view/8240/4109Copyright (c) 2024 THYAGO ALBUQUERQUE, Ivanise Borges Souza, Maria Valeria Pereira de Araujohttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessALBUQUERQUE, THYAGOBorges Souza, IvaniseAraujo, Maria Valeria Pereira de2024-05-05T00:56:40Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/8240Revistahttps://revistas.face.ufmg.br/index.php/mtrPUBhttps://revistas.face.ufmg.br/index.php/mtr/oaimkt.tourism.review@gmail.com||mg.ufmg@gmail.com2525-81762525-8176opendoar:2024-05-05T00:56:40Marketing & Tourism Review - Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG)false |
