Resumo: This article aims to identify and analyse the participation of women in body practices in the context of leisure during the Covid-19 pandemic period. With the Covid-19 pandemic, the work of many women has multiplied, having to meet the demands offormal work, informal unemployment or job search together with the needs of the home, of being a mother, wife and caregiver. Given this scenario, are they able to participate in body practices in the context of leisure? An exploratory research was carriedout, with literature review and qualitative and quantitative data analysis. We used a form that was filled in by 1043 women, mostly from the Southeast region of Brazil. The results indicate that most respondents (70,2%) have participated in body practicesduring the pandemic. Walking outdoors (374) and gymnastics (360) were the main body practices most mentioned, being performed through virtual resources (38.4%) and outdoors (30.5%). The time aspect proved to be decisive when it comes to body practices.
