LEISURE, YOUTH AND SOCIABILITIES IN OURO PRETO: APPROPRIATIONS OF SPACES OUTSIDE THE HISTORICAL CENTER

Resumo: From the understanding that Ouro Preto youths are multiple and access to leisure is not equal, issues such as the experience of alterity, the empowerment of participants and the occupation of public spaces came to light. Social cartography and semi-structured interviews were the methodologies used.It was identified that most leisure experiences take place in communities, outside the historic center of the city, and some lines of flight, processes of resistance and freedom and aestheticization of oneself in their playing bodies, were found. Of a qualitative nature, this research enters the universe of the Ouro Preto youth, investigating the relational processes, the identity traits, the belonging and the engagement with social micropolicies based on the leisure activities that these youngsters are engaged in.

La cartografía social y las entrevistas semiestructuradas fueron las metodologías utilizadas. Se identificó que la mayoría de las experiencias de ocio tienen lugar en comunidades, fuera del centro histórico de la ciudad, y se encontraron algunas líneas de fuga, procesos de resistencia y libertad y estetización de uno mismo en sus cuerpos de juego. De carácter cualitativo, esta investigación se adentra en el universo de la juventud de Ouro Preto, investigando los procesos relacionales, los rasgos de identidad, la pertenencia y el compromiso con las micropolíticas sociales a partir de las actividades de ocio que realizan estos jóvenes.A partir da compreensão de que as juventudes ouro-pretanas são múltiplas e os acessos ao lazer não são equânimes, questões como a experiência de alteridade, o empoderamento dos participantes e a ocupação dos espaços públicos, vieram à tona.  A cartografia social e as entrevistas semi estruturadas foram as metodologias utilizadas. Identificou-se que a maioria das vivências de lazer acontecem nas comunidades, fora do centro histórico da cidade, e encontrou-se algumas linhas de fuga, processos de resistência e liberdade e estetização de si mesmo em seus corpos brincantes.
