Resumo: Starting with the analysis of the feature film I travel because I have to, I come back because I love you (Brazil, 2009), directed by Karim Aïnouz and Marcelo Gomes, the article investigates one of the major characteristics of contemporary Latin American road movies: the minimum narrative.
