Resumo: The purpose of this text is to pay a simple tribute to and thank our dear Elisa Yoshie Ichikawa – a great teacher, researcher, intellectual and friend. To this end, through informal writing, we have tried to bring you some accounts of our history with Elisa, recounting individual experiences that marked us throughout our journey with her. Remembering, reflecting and bringing up these memories made us realize how much academic life is full of affection - and how lucky we are to live with people with generous hearts, unique intelligence and a light presence, like Elisa. We conclude by expressing our gratitude to this great woman for contributing so much to our academic journey and for giving us the greatest gift we could ever have, beyond her professional life: her friendship.

Para ello, a través de una escritura informal, hemos intentado compartir algunas de nuestras historias con Elisa, relatando experiencias individuales que nos marcaron durante el tiempo que pasamos con ella. Recordar, reflexionar y traer a colación estos recuerdos nos ha hecho darnos cuenta de hasta qué punto la vida académica está llena de afectos, y de la suerte que tenemos de convivir con personas de corazón generoso, inteligencia única y presencia luminosa, como Elisa. Concluimos subrayando nuestra gratitud a esta gran mujer por haber contribuido tanto a nuestra trayectoria académica y por habernos hecho el mayor regalo que podríamos tener, más allá de nuestra vida profesional: su amistad.O presente texto tem como objetivo prestar uma singela homenagem, e agradecer, à nossa querida Elisa Yoshie Ichikawa - uma grande professora, pesquisadora, intelectual e amiga. Para tanto, por meio de uma escrita informal, buscamos trazer alguns relatos da nossa história com a Elisa, contando vivências individuais que nos marcaram ao longo da nossa trajetória com ela. Relembrar, refletir e trazer à tona essas memórias, nos fez perceber o quando a vida acadêmica é repleta de afetos - e o quanto temos sorte de conviver com pessoas de coração generoso, de inteligência ímpar e de presença leve, como a Elisa.
