Resumo: This text aims to pay tribute to Alexandre de Pádua Carrieri based on two essentially important aspects, among others, related to his personality and academic trajectory. The first concerns its unique capacity for welcoming and respect that it promotes when receiving, at the Academy, the sons and daughters of social minorities who enter it. The second refers to its importance in building an area of ​​Organizational Studies that is bolder and more resistant to hegemonic power.

El primero se refiere a su incomparable capacidad para acoger y respetar a los hijos e hijas de las minorías sociales que ingresan en la Academia. El segundo se refiere a su importancia en la construcción de un campo de Estudios Organizacionales más audaz y resistente al poder hegemónico.Esse texto tem por finalidade homenagear Alexandre de Pádua Carrieri a partir de dois aspectos essencialmente importantes, dentre outros, relacionados à sua personalidade e trajetória acadêmica. O primeiro diz respeito à sua capacidade ímpar no acolhimento e respeito que promove ao receber, na Academia, os filhos e filhas das minorias sociais que nela ingressam.
