“GLASS CEILING”: : A cas study of the female presence in the Military Police

Resumo: This study, carried out in 2020 in a municipality in the State of Paraná, aimed to investigate female participation in the career of the Military Police, identifying aspects such as: reasons that the interviewees made before this profession, if as interviewees they believe that the institution military responds equally to professionals of both genders and what difficulties are encountered in the profession in this regard. The qualitative case study methodology was used, and it was carried out, with a semi-structured script, with 02 (two) female police officers from the Military Police Battalion and 01 (one) female firefighter from the Fire Brigade, female.
