TECHNOLOGY APPLIED TO RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION: CHANGES DISCLOSED AND RESULTS PERCEIVED IN THE USE OF SOLU-TIONS OFFERED BY BRAZILIAN HR TECHS

Resumo: | In a competitive world, Human resources management (HR) professionals who work with Recruitment and Selection (R&S) can find in technology a powerful support for their work. This paper aims to investigate what are the changes in R&S disclosed by startups focused on develop solutions for HR (called HR techs) and what results are perceived by Brazilian HR managers that adopt those solutions developed. An internet search was carried out to discover the changes promoted by Brazilian HR Techs in the stages of R&S and interviews were conducted to investigate the results perceived by HR managers who use the solutions developed. The data were analyzed using content analysis. The main changes in R&S disclosed by HR techs were: reduction of time and cost, centralization of information (data management), use of artificial intelligence and data crossing. The expectations reported by the managers were to facilitate the process, improve information management, increase assertiveness and decrease turnover. The perceived results were time and cost savings and better information management (concentrates all information in a single environment and analyzes the candidate's preferences).The managers perceived an easiness of the information management, optimization of processes and ease in the disclosure and attraction of candidates adhering to the vacancy. |

A partir do fato do uso de tecnologias na GP ser uma tendência e dos desafios ainda encontrados por profissionais da área na adoção das tecnologias nos processos, o presente trabalho busca investigar quais são as mudanças no R&S divulgadas por start ups voltadas para GP (HR techs) e quais os resultados percebidos por gestores que utilizam soluções desenvolvidas por HR techs brasileiras. Tal esforço justifica-se também pela carência de estudos em empresas brasileiras que utilizam as HR techs na GP, mais especificamente no R&S. O presente estudo possui abordagem qualitativa, sendo realizado por meio da união das pesquisas bibliográficas e exploratória. A pesquisa bibliográfica foi realizada com a intenção de descobrir quais são as mudanças divulgados pelas HR Techs brasileiras nas etapas de R&S. Foram feitas duas entrevistas para investigar as os resultados percebidos pelos gestores de GP que utilizam as soluções desenvolvidas pelas HR Techs. Os dados foram analisados usando a técnica de análise de conteúdo. As principais mudanças no R&S divulgados pelas HR techs foram: redução de tempo e custo, centralização de informações (gestão de dados), uso de inteligência artificial e cruzamento de dados. As expectativas relatadas pelos gestores entrevistados com o uso das ferramentas foram facilitar o processo, melhorar a gestão de informações, aumentar a assertividade e diminuir o turnover. Os resultados percebidos foram economia de tempo e custo e melhor gestão da informação (concentra todas as informações em um único ambiente e analisa as preferências do candidato).
