Resumo: This editorial briefly presents the current scenario, seen in the first half of 2023, considering the context of Information Science and the trajectory of the Revista Múltiplos Olhares em Ciência da Informação throughout its 13 years of existence. Finally, it presents some changes implemented recently for the evolution of the journal and the themes of the current volume.
