Resumo: | The article aims to present a didactic approach of some concepts of work sociology through the visualization of films or audio-visual segments. The videographic selection aims to debate how the forms of work organization and changes in technology affect the worker's subjectivation. Firstly, through the contributions of Zarifian (2016) on the abstract division between labor and worker, we present a scene from an early twentieth-century film. We center on the cinema's gaze upon the Taylorist's subject, and the technological innovations. Afterward, we focus on a sequence that shows the work in the Uruguayan industry of the late twentieth century. The sequence shows which subjects have then subsisted, the deindustrialization, and the market relations – already anachronistic for the portrayed time. Finally, we show a short documentary that illustrates the subjectivity-work relationship in the current context of job insecurity and the introduction of management through Apps technologies. We identify discursive forms of management focusing on the workers’ involvement, modes of action on themselves under the imprint of "entrepreneurship", and how they organize unions, develop a collective sense, and rebel. |
