Passing from high school to university: a study on the supports of accompaniment to young people in Argentina

Resumo: In Argentina, with the massification of university education for at least three decades, a battery of educational accompaniments tend to act on university transitions. To this is added that in the context of a pandemic, forced virtualization implied rethinking initiatives to ensure pedagogical continuity. In this framework, the objective of the text is to contribute to the analysis of policies and accompaniment programs at the university level, with special mention today. For which, a series of public documents were collected and analyzed, as well as specialized bibliography, in order to reconstruct -in a non-exhaustive way- the initiatives developed at the different levels of intervention (national-institutional). The writing is derived from an investigation carried out between 2021 and 2024, within the framework of the Youth Program of the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO) - Argentina and the University of Salvador (USAL). As main findings, it is noted that scholarships are a modality of national accompaniment, even in a pandemic context, to which in the last period it is added that universities promote various initiatives to sustain transitions, actions that often take place together with the secondary level.

A ello suma que, en el contexto de pandemia, la virtualización forzosa, implicó repensar las iniciativas para asegurar la continuidad pedagógica. En este marco, el objetivo del texto es aportar al análisis de políticas y programas de acompañamiento en el nivel universitario, con especial mención en la actualidad. Para lo cual, se recopiló y analizó una serie de documentos públicos, así como bibliografía especializada, con el fin de reconstruir -de forma no exhaustiva- las iniciativas desarrolladas en los distintos niveles de intervención (nacionales-institucionales). El escrito se desprende de una investigación desarrollada entre los años 2021 y 2024, en el marco del Programa Juventud de la Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) – Argentina y de la Universidad del Salvador (USAL). Como principales hallazgos se advierte que las becas son una modalidad de acompañamiento nacional, aún en contexto pandémico, a las cuales en el último periodo se suma que las universidades impulsan diversas iniciativas para el sostenimiento de las transiciones, acciones que muchas veces se dan en conjunto con el nivel secundario.Na Argentina, com a massificação da educação universitária há pelo menos três décadas, uma bateria de acompanhamentos educacionais tende a atuar nas transições universitárias. A isto junta-se que no contexto de pandemia, a virtualização forçada implicou repensar as iniciativas para garantir a continuidade pedagógica. Nesse quadro, o objetivo do texto é contribuir para a análise de políticas e programas de acompanhamento em nível universitário, com destaque para hoje. Para o que foi recolhida e analisada uma série de documentos públicos, bem como bibliografia especializada, de forma a reconstruir - de forma não exaustiva - as iniciativas desenvolvidas nos diferentes níveis de intervenção (nacional-institucional).
