Experience report in Bibliotechonomics: supervised stage of postgraduation teachers

Resumo: This work presents an experience report in the supervised teaching internship of the master's degree course in Management and Knowledge Organization of the School of Information Science at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. The objective was to address the preparation aspects of the graduate student and report the experience in the classroom regarding the development of the activities and practices of the discipline "Topics in Cataloging and Classification of Information D (MARC, RDA and metadata)”, as well as by the evaluation of discipline, the evaluation of the content acquired in the classroom and the evaluation of the graduate student by the students of the discipline. The case study was used and, as a data collection instrument, a questionnaire (Survey) was applied, in addition to the quantitative approach to data analysis. The results indicate a good evaluation of the discipline regarding the bibliography, methodology, pace of exposure of the classes and the format, structure and organization of the activities, as well as a high knowledge and a good preparation and content explanation by the postgraduate student. However, there was a reasonable perception of knowledge acquired by students on some topics. It is concluded that the teaching internship is the moment in which the graduate student is inserted in the academic teaching universe, the theoretical-practical experience in the classroom, resourcefulness and recognition of skills acquired during the academic career.

El objetivo fue abordar aspectos de preparación del egresado e informar sobre su experiencia en el aula en relación al desarrollo de las actividades y prácticas de la asignatura “Temas en Catalogación y Clasificación de Información D (MARC, RDA y Metadatos)”, así como la evaluación de la asignatura, la evaluación de los contenidos adquiridos en el aula y la evaluación del egresado por parte de los estudiantes del curso. Se utilizó el estudio de caso y como instrumento de recolección de datos la aplicación de un cuestionario (Survey), además del enfoque cuantitativo para el análisis de datos. Los resultados indican una buena evaluación de la asignatura en cuanto a la bibliografía, la metodología, el ritmo de exposición de las clases y formato, la estructura y organización de las actividades, así como un alto conocimiento y una buena preparación y explicación del contenido por parte del egresado. Sin embargo, hubo una percepción razonable de los conocimientos adquiridos por los estudiantes sobre algunos temas. Se concluye que la pasantía docente es el momento en el que el egresado se inserta en el universo docente académico, la experiencia teórico-práctica en el aula y su ingenio y reconocimiento de las habilidades adquiridas durante su carrera académica.Este trabalho apresenta um relato de experiência no estágio supervisionado docente de mestrado do curso de pós-graduação em Gestão e Organização do Conhecimento da Escola de Ciência de Informação da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Objetivou-se abordar aspectos de preparação do pós-graduando e relatar sua experiência em sala de aula frente ao desenvolvimento das atividades e práticas da disciplina “Tópicos em Catalogação e Classificação da Informação D (MARC, RDA e metadados)”, bem como pela avaliação da disciplina, a avaliação do conteúdo adquirido em sala de aula e a avaliação do pós-graduando por parte dos alunos. Utilizou-se o estudo de caso e, como instrumento de coleta de dados, a aplicação de um questionário (Survey), além da abordagem quantitativa para análise dos dados. Os resultados indicaram uma boa avaliação da disciplina referente à bibliografia, à metodologia, ao ritmo de exposição das aulas e formato, à estrutura e organização das atividades, assim como um alto conhecimento e uma boa preparação e explicação do conteúdo pelo pós-graduando. Entretanto, houve uma percepção razoável de conhecimento adquirido sobre algumas temáticas pelos alunos.
