Internship supervision and emergency remote education: teaching experience in a health undergraduate course in the Northeast

Summary: | The internship’s pedagogical supervision aims to guide and facilitate its training process. This article objective was to describe the experience of teachers with the internship’s pedagogical supervision of a higher education course in the health field, during the emergency remote education, including the elaboration, implementation, and reflection on the results of this process. This is an experience report, based on the individual records of the teachers made throughout the process. The results pointed to three different categories, as the challenges of being in remote and face-to-face stages alternately; the capability and limitations of teleservices in health; and the daily lives of interns in the pandemic, including setbacks in the home environment and the experience under the risk of contamination. It was concluded that the experience was important to improve the professional skills and was essential in welcoming the typical insecurities, especially in a pandemic period. |

El objetivo fue describir la experiencia de los docentes con la supervisión pedagógica de la pasantía de un curso de educación superior en el área de salud, durante la educación remota de emergencia, incluyendo la elaboración, implementación y reflexión sobre los resultados de este proceso. Este es un informe de experiencia basado en los registros individuales de los maestros supervisores durante todo el proceso. Como resultados, fue posible extraer y discutir tres temas: los desafíos de estar en etapas remotas y presenciales alternativamente; el potencial/limitaciones de los teleservicios de salud; y la vida cotidiana de los aprendices en la pandemia, incluidos los contratiempos en el entorno doméstico y la experiencia en riesgo de contagio. Se concluyó que la experiencia se tradujo en una mejora de las competencias profesionales y fue fundamental para acoger la inseguridad típica del final de la formación, especialmente en un período de pandemia.A supervisão pedagógica de estágio busca orientar e facilitar o processo de formação nessa atividade curricular. O objetivo deste texto foi descrever a experiência de docentes com a supervisão pedagógica de estágio de um curso do ensino superior da área da saúde, durante o ensino remoto emergencial, incluindo a elaboração, a implementação e a reflexão acerca dos resultados desse processo. Trata-se de um relato de experiência baseado nos registros individuais dos docentes supervisores ao longo do processo. Como resultados, foi possível extrair e discutir três temas: os desafios de estar em estágios remotos e presenciais alternadamente; as potencialidades e limitações dos teleatendimentos em saúde; e o cotidiano dos estagiários na pandemia, incluindo contratempos do ambiente domiciliar e a experiência sob o risco do contágio.
