Resumo: | This study identified what the nursing technicians from the UFMG'Clinics Hospital have about the Care Plan. The results revealed that the Care Plan is considered a directional guide to the patient's care it allows them to give priority and sequence to the steps of the care. It also points out that some technicians do not perceive the importance of the plan's utilization due to its limitation to transcription of doctor's prescription. The technicians also believe that the Care Plan is not up to date nor adequate to the reality of the unit. The authors indicate the necessity of a revision of the Care Plan as an instrument of the nursing working process. |

Según el resultado el plan sirve de guía para la prestación de asistencia al paciente, permitiendo establecer prioridades y secuencia en la ejecución de la tarea. También in-forma que algunos técnicos no le dan la debida importancia a su utilización por limitarse a transcribir la prescripción médica, no están actualizados y no se adaptan a la realidad del sector. Las autoras subrayan la necesidad de rever el Plan de Asistencia como herramienta del proceso de trabajo de la enfermería.Este estudo identificou o entendimento que o técnico de enfermagem do Hospital das Clínicas-UFMG tem sobre o Plano de Cuidados. O resultado revelou que o Plano de Cuidados é considerado um guia norteador para a prestação da assistência ao paciente, permitindo a priorização e a seqüência na execução dos cuidados. Aponta, ainda, que alguns técnicos não percebem a importância da sua utilização, por limitar-se à transcrição da prescrição médica, serem desatualizados e não se adequarem à realidade do setor.
