Counseling on HIV/AIDS: an educational practice

Resumo: The objective of this study was to discuss counseling in HIV/Aids from the point of view of educational practice in the light of problem raising and education for autonomy. it was found that studies on this theme showed a tendency to authoritarianism and a lack of preparation of workers both in dealing with issues, such as sexuality and sexually transmissible diseases, as well as in the theory and methodology for education.
