Evaluation of hospital discharge guidelines and its application to puerperal women sharing a room in a public hospital in Belo Horizonte

Resumo: This is a descriptive study in which a pre and a post-test were performed. The data were processed and analyzed using Microsoft Office Excel. The analysis of the words collected was conducted through a word frequency test. 9 meetings were held to discuss the guidelines for hospital discharge. The research samples consisted of 92 patients. The participants were aged between 15 and 40 years old. Regarding the childbirth, 44 were normal deliveries and 29 were achieved through caesarean section. During pre-test, 9 women associated breastfeeding, newborn care and self-care with the terms "do not know" or "nothing" and 14 related the same terms with negative words. In the post-test, all associated words were positive. The study revealed that the work developed empowered the patients to take an active interest in their own health and in the care of their newborn

Los datos fueron procesados y analizados con el programa Microsoft Office Excel. El análisis de las palabras recogidas se realizó mediante la verificación de la frecuencia. Se realizaron nueve para discutir las directrices orientación de alta. La muestra consistió en 92 pacientes entre 15 y 40 años. En cuanto a la modalidad de parto, 44 partos fueron normales y 29 por cesárea. Durante la prueba preliminar nueve mujeres asociaron la lactancia materna a los cuidados del recién nacido y al autocuidado las palabras "no sabe" o "nada" y 14 asociaron tales términos a palabras negativas. En la prueba posterior todas las palabras asociadas fueron positivas. Se observa que el trabajo desarrollado con este estudio permitió que las pacientes involucradas adquirieran interés activo en su propia salud y en el cuidado del recién nacidoTrata-se de um estudo de natureza descritiva, no qual se utilizou o pré-e o pós-teste. Os dados obtidos foram processados e analisados no programa Microsoft Office Excel. A análise das palavras coletadas foi realizada mediante a verificação da frequência. Foram realizadas 9 reuniões de orientações de alta e a amostra compreendeu 92 indivíduos. A idade dos participantes variou entre 15 e 40 anos. Quanto à via de parto, 44 partos foram normais e 29 cesarianos. Durante o pré-teste, 9 mulheres associaram à amamentação aos cuidados com o recém-nascido e ao autocuidado as palavras "não sabe" ou "nada" e 14 associaram tais termos a palavras negativas. Já no pós-teste, todas as palavras associadas foram positivas.
