Resumo: The study employs a longitudinal design to understand, from the perspective of subject analysis, the users’ perception of document content. Data were collected at two different moments. The results show some convergence but also divergence of the users at the two moments, as well as the interpretation of the users for these outcomes. The results suggest standards of classification of the topics identified in the documents in fundamental/peripheral and generic/ specific. They also suggest that nature of the work being carried out by the user in a given moment as well as terminology evolution may be important factors for explaining the divergences at the two different moments of data collection

Para efeito de comparação, utiliza-se um delineamento de natureza longitudinal, com a coleta de dados em dois momentos temporais diferentes. Os resultados mostram alguma convergência mas também discordância dos usuários nos dois momentos referidos, bem como a interpretação dos usuários para eventuais discordâncias. Os resultados sugerem padrões de classificação dos tópicos identificados nos documentos em fundamentais/periféricos e genéricos/ específicos.
