Resumo: | This paper wishes to approach, from a historical perspective, some of the ideals or goals that musical analysis has taken into account for the treatment of the musical work as an object of study. From an approach to music as an object, to the metalanguages that refer to that object and of course, to the different methodologies to approach it, a critical reflection is built on the transformations that the practice of musical analysis has undergone, including its expansion processes through multiple dialogical relations with other fields of knowledge. The aim of this critical approach is to contribute to the reflection on the current dilemmas of the practice of musical analysis and, above all, to the teaching of analysis in higher musical education. |

The aim of this critical approach is to contribute to the reflection on the current dilemmas of the practice of musical analysis and, above all, to the teaching of analysis in higher musical education.Este artículo de reflexión se propone abordar desde una perspectiva histórica, algunos de los ideales o propósitos que, desde el análisis musical, se han tenido en cuenta para el tratamiento de la obra musical como objeto de estudio. A partir de un acercamiento a los pensamientos sobre la música como objeto, a los metalenguajes para referirse a dicho objeto y por supuesto, a las diferentes metodologías para abordarlo, se construye una reflexión crítica sobre las transformaciones que ha tenido la práctica del análisis musical y sus procesos de expansión a través de sus múltiples relaciones dialógicas con otros campos de conocimiento. Se espera con esta aproximación crítica, aportar a la reflexión sobre los dilemas actuales de la práctica del análisis musical y, sobre todo, a los procesos de enseñanza del análisis en la formación musical universitaria.Este artigo de reflexão pretende abordar, a partir de uma perspectiva histórica, alguns dos ideais ou propósitos que, desde a análise musical, foram levados em consideração para o tratamento da obra musical como objeto de estudo. A partir de uma abordagem dos pensamentos a respeito da música como objeto, das metalinguagens para se referir a este objeto e, claro, das diferentes metodologias para enfrentá-lo, se constrói uma reflexão crítica sobre as transformações que a prática da análise musical tem tido e seus processos de expansão através de suas diversas relações dialógicas com outros campos do conhecimento.
