Resumo: This study aims to analyze the epistemology of creativity in microeconomic and evolutionary thinking. Applying the semantic and ontological method, the research demarcates the psychodynamic and multidimensional elements linked to the theory of creativity that are present in the representation of the creative process exercised by individuals within the neoclassical and evolutionary microeconomy. The neoclassical, oligopolistic and neo-Schumpeterian microeconomic paradigms are adopted as the scientific structure of analysis. As a result, a systemic representation of creative process is elaborated from the definition of the term economic creativity. Aplicando o método semântico e ontológico, a pesquisa demarca os elementos psicodinâmicos e multidimensionais vinculados à teoria da criatividade que estão presentes na representação do processo criativo exercido pelos indivíduos dentro da microeconomia neoclássica e evolucionária. São adotados como estrutura científica de análise os paradigmas microeconômicos neoclássico seminal, oligopolista e neoschumpeteriano. Como resultado, elabora-se uma representação sistêmica do processo criativo a partir da definição do termo ‘criatividade econômica’.
