IDEOLOGY AND EDUCATION FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF LOUIS ALTHUSSER

Approach the ideology requires the ability to going inside to the contemporaryperspectives of this theme, since this phenomenon acquires increasingly more complex configurationstoday. We chose the Slovenian philosopher Slavoj Žižek as articulator of the myriad of concepts aboutideology and, we takes as a fundamental bases the Althusser's theory and its concepts of Ideology and its“Ideological State Apparatus”. When tensioning reflexively these concepts we visualize how ideology actsand what are crucial elements. To get this aim, within the philosophical tradition, we approach, beyondthe perspective of Althusser's apparatus, the concepts of positivity of Hegel, dispositive of Foucault andAgamben, and “great Other” of Lacan, as control and alienation of the subject. Thus, we will betterunderstand the criticism of the "School Ideological Apparatus" and its developments concerning toBrazilian education. In this sense , we also perceive the limits of Althusser's thinking, with regard to theprocess of subjectivation and dessubjectivation, and about how the education process can be full ofevents, since it can be in permanent transformation because it is never complete, as well as the subject is.
