Resumo: This paper aims to analyse the profile of the virtual epitexts that appear in four educational publishing platforms for the promotion of books. Being aware that we are immersed in a gaseous society (SCOLARI, 2021) where the brief, fashions and the viral predominate; the new reading paradigm corresponds to an analogue-digital hybridisation in which book-trailers become a clear example of a transmedia product of the original text by publishers. Our qualitative research is based on a corpus analysis of 70 fictional epitexts, by means of a list of contents divided into three study categories. The results show their presence in both children's and young adult’s literature books in order to encourage reading and to bring forth curiosity and enjoyment in the prosumer. However, it is also necessary to highlight that this type of multimodal techniques and languages cannot supplant the protagonism of the literary fact and reading itself.

Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais2023-01-03info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.ufmg.br/index.php/textolivre/article/view/4204710.1590/1983-3652.2023.42047Texto Livre; Vol. 16 (2023): Texto Livre: Linguagem e Tecnologia; e42047Texto Livre; Vol. 16 (2023): Texto Livre: Linguagem e Tecnologia; e42047Texto Livre; Vol. 16 (2023): Texto Livre: Linguagem e Tecnologia; e42047Texto Livre; v. 16 (2023): Texto Livre: Linguagem e Tecnologia; e420471983-3652reponame:Texto livreinstname:Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG)instacron:UFMGspahttps://periodicos.ufmg.br/index.php/textolivre/article/view/42047/32260Copyright (c) 2023 Manuel Francisco Romero Oliva, Hugo Heredia Ponce, Carmen Romero Claudiohttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessRomero Oliva, Manuel FranciscoHeredia Ponce, HugoRomero Claudio, Carmen2024-07-05T10:48:15Zoai:periodicos.ufmg.br:article/42047Revistahttp://www.periodicos.letras.ufmg.br/index.php/textolivrePUBhttps://periodicos.ufmg.br/index.php/textolivre/oairevistatextolivre@letras.ufmg.br1983-36521983-3652opendoar:2024-07-05T10:48:15Texto livre - Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG)false
