A gravidez na adolescência: uma proposta de intervenção

Adolescence is the period of life between 10 and 19 years, in which there are profound biopsychosocial changes and, in Brazil, pregnancy in this population is considered a public health problem, since teenagers are more vulnerable to obstetric complications, with often negative emotional and social context impact. In this sense, the present study aims to develop a proposal of action to act educationally on the risks experienced in teenage pregnancy and supporting them when seeking contraception. Coverage of 85 % (ESF) , and - was developed in the municipality of Lagoa da Prata located in miner Midwest, with an estimated 49,089 inhabitants and 201 km from Belo Horizonte with 12 units Teams of the FHS population population. The scenario focuses on the FHS St. Helena, where it is observed that the incidence of pregnancies among adolescents aged 10 to 19 years, in August 2013 was 06 of total 14 cases. Already around the municipality of Lagoa da Prata in the same period the SISPRENATAL had 50 registered pregnant women and those 31 were aged 10-19 years. According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics - IBGE (2013), based on data from surveys conducted in 2007, there was a significant increase in teenage pregnancies from 1996 to 2007 in Brazil. The study used the descriptive bibliographic reference using keywords Adolescence, Teenage Pregnancy, Pregnancy. After the electronic search , taken from stock SCIELO/BIRENE data (VHL) were read abstracts and selected works , books, scientific journals and articles, was drawn up following a proposal for intervention . This occurs through direct meetings with the participation of the entire team at FHS. Lectures on the subject were discussed with all involved in the proposal and the meetings are held in the FHS St. Helena and the House of Bethany (Hall of the Catholic Church) in the municipality of Lagos ad Prate / MG. Intended that this project will serve as a support intervention for these adolescents in confronting this new phase of life, warning them of the risks and experienced support them when seeking contraception.
