A Pampulha e o “Novo” Mineirão: possibilidades para o fomento da prática do turismo futebolístico

Resumo: This study aimed to investigate the practice of football tourism in Belo Horizonte, from the possibilities of approximation between Pampulha and the "new" Mineirao. 335 were filled forms on days of matches at the stadium, and in order to participate, the fans could not have fixed housing in the city. It was found that the intrinsic values to the "new" Mineirao are factors that motivate the majority of fans wanting to travel to attend the stadium. However, the minority engaged in other leisure activities in Pampulha beyond footballing experience. Therefore, both the interventions occurred in the urban landscape of Pampulha, which formed as a tourist space, as the tourist flow from the footballing demand, it is believed that football can be thought of, in addition to the sporting dimension, as a tourist attraction capable of promoting tourism in the locality.

Foram preenchidos 335 formulários em dias de jogos realizados no estádio, sendo que, para poder participar da pesquisa, o torcedor não podia possuir moradia fixa na cidade. Identificou-se que os valores intrínsecos ao “novo” Mineirão são fatores que motivam a maioria dos torcedores a querer viajar para frequentar o estádio. Todavia, a minoria realiza outras atividades de lazer na Pampulha além da vivência futebolística.
