O tema proposto foi o impacto social decorrente da propagação de fake news. Como procedimento metodológico, faremos uma descrição das atividades realizadas em sala e discussão do percurso didático, incluindo reflexões sobre o aproveitamento dos alunos e avaliação da nossa abordagem. Temos como objetivo, neste relato, compartilhar experiências com professores e demais interessados em discutir as fake news, tema tão presente nas discussões da contemporaneidade, além de colaborar com pesquisas sobre as contribuições do Pibid na formação de professores. Concluímos que, diante da realidade da sala de aula, surgem novas demandas decorrentes das respostas dos alunos e, portanto, novas estratégias precisam ser elaboradas para atendê-las, já que o processo de ensino-aprendizagem é dinâmico. Também consideramos o valor do espaço promovido por programas como o Pibid para garantir educação de qualidade no ensino superior e na educação básica.This article aims to reflect on the experience of two scholarship undergraduates in carrying out a didactic proposal with a class from the 2nd year of high school at the Technical College of UFMG, within the scope of the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Scholarships (Pibid). The theme proposed was the socialimpact resulting from the spread of fake news. As a methodological procedure, we will describe the activities carried out in the classroom and discuss the didactic path, including reflections on the students' performance and evaluation of our approach. Inthis report, we aim to share experiences with teachers and other people interested in discussing fake news, a subject that is so recurrent in contemporary discussions, in addition to collaborating with research on the contributions of Pibid in teacher education. We concluded that, given the reality of the classroom, new demands arise from the students' responses and, therefore, new strategies need to be developed to meet their expectations, since the teaching and learning process is dynamic.
