Aims to analyze the research topics in the Brazilian Congress of Library Science, Documentation and Information Science between 2005 and 2013 with emphasis on School Librarianship. The option to adopt this database was due to the fact that it contributes in a significant way, by seeking to organize and represent the knowledge about the area, in which the School Library is constituted as a subarea. The sample consisted of 44 papers presented at the event in the categories: Reading; Library in the teaching-learning process and Library Structure. Methodologically, this is a bibliographical research and was used as a data collection procedure the technique of bibliographic survey. The analysis of the data was made from the pre-textual and textual elements of the communications. It is considered that the number of papers presented in the analyzed editions was significant and has been increasing each year. In addition, the diversity of thematic categories revealed multiple approaches and experiences related to the categories analyzed.
