O desenvolvimento regional do turismo e do lazer: concepções, interações e centralidades

Resumo: Este artigo é parte da tese de doutorado do Programa de Pós-graduação Interdisciplinar em Estudos do Lazer, da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Consiste em uma revisão bibliográfica cujo objetivo foi identificar qual compreensão de desenvolvimento regional é coerente com o entendimento de lazer e de turismo como direitos. Os resultados dessa pesquisa destacaram o desenvolvimento regional como aquele que diz respeito ao local e às pessoas, pautado no tripé território, articulação regional e transformação política. Destarte, a centralidade do desenvolvimento regional do lazer e do turismo está intimamente relacionada às práxis sociais coletivas, e ao desenvolvimento social e humano, sem desconsiderar o econômico.

It consists of a bibliographical review whose objective was to identify which understanding of regional development is coherent with the understanding of leisure and tourism as rights. The results of this research highlighted the regional development as the one that concerns the place and the people, based on tripod territory, regional articulation and political transformation.
