2023-08-01T19:50:51Z2023-08-01T19:50:51Z2019-12-20213231249https://doi.org/10.23925/1983-3156.2019vol21i3p231-2491983-3156http://hdl.handle.net/1843/57316http://orcid.org/0000-0003-3322-3991http://orcid.org/0000-0003-1496-0611Fazemos nesse artigo um recorte de uma pesquisa de mestrado profissional desenvolvida entre maio e setembro de 2016 com 17 estudantes na faixa etária de 13 a 15 anos, que cursavam o oitavo ano do Ensino Fundamental em uma escola pública da rede estadual de Minas Gerais, na cidade de Belo Horizonte. O foco da pesquisa foi a observação de seis intervenções didáticas realizadas com o objetivo de provocar o desenvolvimento do pensamento algébrico, caracterizado como um modo analítico de pensar em situações de indeterminação. Desenvolvemos seis tarefas que tiveram a generalização de padrões como fio condutor, com a finalidade de provocar os estudantes a pensarem algebricamente. As intervenções foram filmadas e notas de campo foram tomadas. Observamos que ações foram desencadeadas pela mediação de diferentes artefatos e interação social. As análises de tais ações tiveram como fundamentação teórica a Teoria da Objetificação do conhecimento, em que a aprendizagem é considerada um processo através do qual é possível, através do uso de artefatos, tomar consciência de modos culturais de pensar, os processos de objetificação. Nessa concepção, trazemos para este recorte, os processos objetificação vivenciados por Evandro, ao se envolver em tarefas de observar padrões e generalizar algebricamente. Os resultados mostram que, através da coordenação de diferentes recursos, Evandro transitou entre diferentes etapas da generalização (detectar um comunalidade, estendê-la e utilizá-la para deduzir uma regra) e atingiu, desse modo, as diferentes camadas de generalidade, utilizando, para expressar seu modo de pensar durante as tarefas, desde gestos e recursos materiais, até a elaboração de uma regra em linguagem oral.This article is a clipping of a professional master's research conducted between May and September 2016 with 17 students aged 13 to 15 years, who were in the eighth grade of elementary school in a public school in the state network of Minas Gerais, in the city from Belo Horizonte. The focus of the research was the observation of six didactic interventions made with the objective of provoking the development of algebraic thinking, characterized as an analytical way of thinking in situations of indetermination. We developed six tasks that had the generalization of patterns as a guiding thread, in order to provoke students to think algebraically. The interventions were filmed and field notes were taken. We observed that actions were triggered by the mediation of different artifacts and social interaction. The analysis of such actions had as theoretical foundation the Objectification Theory of knowledge, in which learning is considered a process through which it is possible, through the use of artifacts, to become aware of cultural ways of thinking, the processes of objectification. In this conception, we bring to this clipping, the objectification processes experienced by Evandro, when engaging in tasks of observing patterns and generalizing algebraically.
