Ambas através das Artes sinalizaram contradições no ideário do que se compreendia como “humano”, “tolerável” além do seu tempo, a partir dos antecedentes da Revolução Francesa. Através das suas ações no espaço público destinado aos homens, as suas ligações com as artes sinalizam tensões presentes ao acolhimento dos Direitos Humanos (só dos homens?) no ambiente da cultura e na vida social. Este é o fio condutor desenrolado a partir da Europa para seguir até as Américas, onde dialoga com a herança africana, trazendo a lume mulheres extraordinárias que ousaram denunciar as falácias entre o discurso pela igualdade, liberdade e fraternidade e as ações no seio de uma sociedade desigual marcada pelo silêncio e pela invisibilização, ao mesmo tempo em que aponta a complexidade da questão expressa no próprio termo “humano” que designa os direitos fundamentais.This essay brings to the text various cultural actions that express themes dear to the humanist tradition: literature, theater, fine arts, dance, music that develops around two women, Olympe des Gouges and Marietta Baderna. Both through the Arts signaled contradictions in the ideology of what was understood as “human”, “tolerable” beyond its time, from the antecedents of French Revolution. Through their actions in the public space destined for men, their links with the arts show tensions present to the reception of Human Rights (only of men?) in the environment of culture and social life.
