Several studies have been published analyzing methods of production control or the effect of common contaminators, present in the bonding area which might affect the global capacity of the connection. In this work, anchorage strength was evaluated under the effects of four superficial treatments on the anchorage area of steel bars and increasing and decreasing moisture variations after bonding. The adhesive used was the epoxy resin Sikadur32 Fluid and the steel bars were perpendicularly fixed to the wood fibers, obtained through a random sample of a lot of sawed Corymbia citriodora wood. In 98.70% of rupture, specimen occurred due to loss of resin adhesion on the bar surface, due to chemical and mechanical loss adhesion.O arrancamento de barras de aço coladas em peças estruturais de madeira apresenta desempenho altamente satisfatório quanto à estética, resistência e rigidez da ligação, porém, surgem grandes preocupações quanto ao controle de qualidade da colagem, fazendo com que alguns autores sugiram que a operação de colagem deve ser feita em ambiente fabril com o controle de qualidade adequado e por pessoal especializado. Vários estudos foram publicados analisando métodos de controle de produção ou o efeito de contaminantes comuns, presentes na área de ligação, que podem afetar a capacidade global da conexão. Neste trabalho, a resistência de ancoragem foi avaliada sob os efeitos de quatro tratamentos superficiais na área de ancoragem de barras de aço e variações crescentes e decrescentes de umidade após a colagem. O adesivo utilizado foi a resina epóxi Sikadur32 Fluid e as barras de aço foram fixadas perpendicularmente às fibras da madeira, obtidas através de uma amostra aleatória de um lote de madeira serrada de Corymbia citriodora. Em 98,70% das rupturas, o corpo de prova ocorreu devido à perda de adesão da resina na superfície da barra, devido à adesão por perda química e mecânica.engUniversidade Federal de Minas GeraisUFMGBrasilENG - DEPARTAMENTO DE ENGENHARIA MATERIAIS E DA CONSTRUÇÃO CIVILCurrent Journal of Applied Science and TechnologyBarras de açoResinas epoxiMadeiraBonded-in barStructural resinsAnchorage strengthSuperficial treatmentComparison of anchorage strength of bonded-in steel bars with epoxy resin, varying the superficial treatments and moisture after bonding, using Corymbia citriodora woodComparação da resistência de ancoragem de barras de aço coladas com resina epóxi, variando os tratamentos superficiais e a umidade após a colagem, utilizando madeira de Corymbia citriodorainfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/articlehttps://journalcjast.com/index.php/CJAST/article/view/1705Julio César PigozzoEduardo ChahudFelipe Nascimento ArroyoAndré Luis ChristoforoDiego Henrique de AlmeidaFrancisco Antonio Rocco Lahrapplication/pdfinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Repositório Institucional da UFMGinstname:Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG)instacron:UFMGLICENSELicense.txtLicense.txttext/plain;
