Lazer na região norte do Brasil: as práticas cotidianas das diferentes classes sociais

This study is the result of a research financed by the Federal Government that aimed to understand 3 questions: what does the Brazilian do as leisure? What would you like to do, but not as a leisure experience? And why not? Specifically, in this text we had as objective to approach the leisure experiences of the population that resides in the northern Brazilian region considering the cut of the social class category. The sample of this investigation was composed by the data of the subjects residing in the northern region of the Brazilian territory older than 7 years of age. The collection instrument was the structured questionnaire, composed of open and closed questions. The results of the research bring aspects that demonstrate, specifically, how the people of the North Region have experienced the leisure, with the specificities demarcated by the different social classes. Some of the research indicators show a greater access of class A1 to several leisure activities, since these become more accessible due to the better financial and cultural conditions, as is the case of the tourist ones, which for this group stood out.
