Technological advances have occurred in recent years have provided knowledge dissemination at levels unimaginable. Encased in this scenario, knowledge management has become a topic of discussion since the society of knowledge, intellectual capital and the ability to generate knowledge, are necessary ingredients for competitiveness. Credit unions have become an important tool for social inclusion and strong mechanism of income distribution, mainly in the Amazon region. The aim of the study was to analyze thepractices of Knowledge Management in Credit Cooperatives of the states of Rondônia, Acre and Amazonas. This is a quantitative descriptive in nature, using the technique Survey to collect data. The data collection instrument consisted of 30 closed questions were used Likert scales five points, ranging from "strongly disagree" to "strongly agree", drawn from the model of knowledge management proposed by Terra (2001 .) Data were collected electronically through LimeSurvey, and the research was directed cooperatives affiliated to the system and SICOOB, CREDISIS, and the data were statistically analyzed with the software R. The results show that the cooperative has advanced gradually in the field of knowledge management. As a conclusion, it is believed that cooperatives, as well as knowledge management are still issues in recent Brazilian history and in academia, especially in the Amazon region therefore require the expansion of research and investment.
