Tais charges representam, semiótica e dialogicamente, o discurso de defesa do medicamento pelo viés do mito e da religiosidade, como estratégias de desqualificação de duas figuras públicas: o Presidente Jair Bolsonaro e o médico e pesquisador Didier Raoult. Este estudo se inscreve, pois, no quadro de uma análise do discurso que se interessa pela representação discursiva de saberes elaborados na esfera científica e “relidos” em discursos de vulgarização científica, por meio dos quais os fatos sociais adquirem ampla repercussão junto ao público de não especialistas. Desse modo, a Covid-19, em sua representação figurativa e temática, passa a configurar-se também como uma pandemia política e midiática.This article analyzes and compares cartoons, produced in Brazil and France, that deal with the controversy about the use of (hydroxy) chloroquine in the treatment of Covid- 19. Such cartoons texts represent, semiotically and dialogically, the discourse of defense the medication through the bias of myth and religiosity, as strategies to disqualify two public figures: President Jair Bolsonaro and the doctor and researcher Didier Raoult. This study, therefore, is part of a discourse analysis that is interested in the discursive representation of knowledge elaborated in the scientific sphere and “re-read” in discourses of scientific vulgarization, through which social facts acquire wide repercussion with the public of nonspecialists.
