Resumo: The study show an intervention on bad adherence on medical and non-medical treatment of hypertension in the rural community “São Joaquim”, located at Coração de Jesus –MG. For the intervention proposed three actions related to intermediate problems that have been defined, resolved, would help to close or minimize the priority problem: (1) the need for on going scientific Team Update Family Health Project (Continuing Education in Health Project), (2) inadequate and insufficient information of the population (Operative Group Project), and (3) inadequate habits and styles of life (Living Well Project). The proposal involves actions of continuing health education for professional staff, educational activities with the community, through operative groups, and processes to improve the quality of life by creation of walking groups guided by the physical education professional.

Para essa proposta foram definidas três ações relacionadas a problemas intermediários que, resolvidos, ajudariam a encerrar ou minimizar o problema prioritário: (1) Necessidade de atualização científica permanente da equipe de Saúde da Família (Projeto Educação Permanente em Saúde); (2) Nível de informação inadequado e insuficiente por parte da população (Projeto Grupo operativo); e (3) Hábitos e estilos de vida inadequados (Projeto Viver com qualidade).
