Para isso, está estruturado em introdução, na qual o tema da formação de professores para a etapa é contextualizado no panorama mais amplo de inserção da educação infantil na educação básica; em dois tópicos nos quais, respectivamente, são apresentadas as concepções teóricas e metodológicas em que se ancoram a proposta de formação do LEEI; e sua estrutura e repercussões na oferta no município de Juiz de Fora. Finalmente, são tecidas considerações sobre a relevância de a formação de professoras da educação infantil ser concebida na perspectiva de uma política pública como condição para que os resultados dessa formação possam ser observados nas práticas pedagógicas e, consequentemente, nos processos de aprendizagem e desenvolvimento de bebês e crianças.In this article, we reflect on the experience of the Reading and Writing Course in Early Childhood Education (LEEI), an educational action of early childhood education teachers that took place in the municipal school system of Juiz de Fora and based on the principles of historical-cultural theory, especially in the Mikhail Bakhtin's philosophy of language. For this, it is structured in an introduction, in which the theme of teacher training for the stage is contextualized in the broader panorama of the insertion of early childhood education in basic education; in two topics in which, respectively, the theoretical and methodological conceptions on which the LEEI formation proposal is anchored are presented; and its structure and repercussions on the offer in the municipality of Juiz de Fora.
